My Granddad brought his family to Brighton on summer day trips, to escape a drab post-war London. He found utopia in a pot of cockles, a deck chair and a bottle of light ale. I found a utopia of my own in a city with broad horizons, which is what inspired me to set up a studio here in 2010.

Having gained a wealth of experience in agency-land, we pull on this knowledge to offer creative solutions across a variety of brand challenges. We believe in simple, direct communication and apply this to print, screen and environmental design.

    Reebok Zoku Runner Launch
    Brief

    Exposure NY had been approached by Reebok to launch their new shoe The Zoku Runner Ultraknit as a Trans-Atlantic event. The Zoku Runner is a continuation of Reebok’s DNA, inspired by the instant of flight and underpinned by the strapline ‘Classic Evolution’. ABD was invited to develop the creative concept alongside the NY creative team. Our task was to develop a concept that could be rolled out in London and then again in New York. The transition or flight was also to be an integral part to the event as it would represent the continuum of the journey.

    Solution

    Our activity would follow one creative process split across 3 stages, to dramatise the core concept of ‘continual evolution’… Phase 1 — Take Off, Phase 2 — Flight, Phase 3 — Touch Down. The language of flight was utilised to develop the visual identity. The London venue (Village Underground) would be represented by it’s long/lat co-ordinates 51° 31′ 27.0372” N / 0° 5′ 1.2372” W and the NY venue (Union Sq. Flagship Store) represented by 40° 44′ 7.7964” N / 73° 59’ 30.7716” W. Exposure NY secured the appearance of wrap superstar ‘Future’ to perform in London and NY, with the flight time between the 2 locations to be used to mix exclusive material for the launch.
