My Granddad brought his family to Brighton on summer day trips, to escape a drab post-war London. He found utopia in a pot of cockles, a deck chair and a bottle of light ale. I found a utopia of my own in a city with broad horizons, which is what inspired me to set up a studio here in 2010.

This seasons collection takes inspiration from Ian Flemings most prodigious son. For this reason the brief for the collection images would require an exotic location and it was identified that the brochure format would need rot be more expansive, carry more editorial content than in previous seasons.
Jamaica was re-created in exotic Gibraltar with the addition of a classic Aston Martin DB5 and series of timeless mid-century travelogue / fashion stories capture. This would then be translated into a journal that delivered the collection as an editorial piece including a travel guide and Hackett recommends. The design utilised a simple grid with timeless classic fonts and mix of uncoated and coated paper stocks to differentiate the editorial sections.
